Martin is a Non-stipendry minister with a fulltime occupation in the IT support sector. He is married to Vivienne and they two sons, Matthew and Simon. Martin has lived in Enfield all his life attending Lavender Road School, Chace Boys Secondary and Enfield Grammar School. He started in Life Boys’ at Lancaster Road at the age of 7 and was discharged from the company as a colour sergeant having gained his Queens Badge and Silver DEA. Martin became a Church Member at Lancaster Road URC in 1975 and was ordained an Elder in 1984. Martin has been involved in Youth Ministry at a District and Synod level for many years and continues to support work with children and young people. Children and Young people an important part of the Church family. Martin has various hobbies and interests. He is a Governor at Chace Community School. Enjoys music, both playing and listening and has been trying for many years to lower his golf handicap. Spending time with the family is important. The Revd Martin Legg was ordained as Associate Minister at Bush Hill Park United Reformed Church in July 1991 after completing 4 years of study at Oak Hill Theological College, Southgate.
